This evening at 8pm CEST, our CS:GO Team captain Marc ‚xshort1’ Müller and the team have their second match in the ongoing European Nations Cup. Todays opponent is none less than the first neighbor of our group, France. Against a line-up containg mostly of players from the Team VeryGames, Switzerland is the obvious underdog.

Statement xshort1:

Hi everyone! After the first game against the Ukraine, where we were able to grab a point, we’re now facing the first showdown with a neighbor. The French team awaits us on Friday evening, 8pm, with their strongest line-up. We’re entering the match as the clear underdog, yet hope remains, that we’ll be able to at least tease the French a little. Since nationalteam line-ups hardly get to practice together, everything seems possible. Especially in a group with such a high density of skill as ours – plenty of teams had were only able to play draws and only win single points.

Most likely line-up for Switzerland:

Kevin ‘ito’ Titonel
Diyar ‘diYAR’ Akyol
Hogir ‘phX’ Aksakal
Manuel ‘SolEk’ Zeindler
(Matthieu ‘Maniac’ Quiquerez, Marc ‘xshort1’ Müller

The SESF wishes the team the best of luck! Bring home the points guys! At this point in time is not currently clear, whether the match will be streamed or not. We’ll announce more on this issue within the comments as soon as posisble.
