The team captains have been chosen. For the upcoming European cup by E-Frag, Switzerland will be providing a team in both categories, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive as well as DotA2. The two teams will be managed by the captains David “Dave” Morf (DotA2) and Marc “xshort1″ Müller (CSGO). They will be announcing the Swiss line-ups in the coming days.
Statement Marco „AemJaY“ Juen, responsible for Nationalteams:
„In the past, nations cups have suffered a loss in importance. The more I’m glad today, that there is yet another attempt to hold a nations competition. I’m confident, that Switzerland will be able to provide powerful teams for the tournament. I wish the new captains the best of luck in the European championship, and I’m looking forward to working with them.”
Statement David „Dave“ Morf, Captain DotA2:
“I’m very happy about getting the chance of put together a new Swiss DotA2 team and I’m very greatful for being chosen as captain. I’ think it is great to see, that there is still a plattform in Switzerland, where E-Sports are being supported, and I much appreciate the effort that is being made. My goal is to assemble a strong and performant team and potentially achieve the one or other surprise in the tournament.”

‘First of all, I want to thank the SESF for putting their trust in me. I’m confident of being able of putting together the best possible lin-up for Switzerland. Our goal for the European championship will be to honorably represent Switzerland and to bother some of the big E-Sports nations in the tournament.
