The Swiss Esports Federation partners with War Legend

by | | SESF, SESF Press Release

26th of January, Lausanne, Switzerland | FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

In 2018, the Swiss Esport Federation released its certification programme for tournament organisers, to facilitate the regulations’ standardisation for all competitions, and the « esports framework », which offers a platform to players and tournament organisers to settle their disputes. Esports competitions can benefit from those programmes, therefore proving their high-quality standards.

It is War Legend’s case, a French association, that organises Fortnite tournaments and events, which expressed its interest in this certification, for their next competition, Rocket-O-Llama, organised in collaboration with EPIC Games. It is a decentralised LAN, that will happen simultaneously in 3 countries (France, Greece and Spain) on the week-end of the 26th and 27th January 2019.

Eager to have a strong base and refereeing system for their tournament, War Legend therefore concluded a partnership with the SESF, to benefit from our expertise in the refereeing field, in addition to their logistical savoir-faire. A game such as Fortnite, recent in the esport community, needs clear and defined bases from the beginning, to offer high-quality standards tournaments.

We strongly encourage our members and our community to follow this event.
