Participation Requirements

There are some basic preconditions that the potential competitors have to comply with.

Only Swiss citizens (i.e. you must have a Swiss passport) are allowed to participate in the qualifier. The World Championship by the International e-Sports Federation is a nations competition. Just like in other sports as well, this means that all athletes representing a certain country, have to be citizens of that country.

Teams are not allowed to change their line-ups, neither at any stage of the qualifier nor for the World Championships in case of a successful qualification. In exceptional cases it is the exclusive right of the federation to decide in each case individually.

Every competitor must be available to definitely attend the World Championships in Jakarta, Indonesia, from October 6th to 10th.

Casters Wanted

In order to being able to broadcast as many matches of the qualifiers as possible, and equally in as many languages as possible, we need your help. We have already recruited some talented Swiss casters for the tournament, yet we are still on the lookout for fresh talents who deserve a chance.

You already have some experience with streaming and casting games? Dann please get in touch with us as soon as possible via e-mail to admin [at] iesf2016.ch.

So mark the dates in your calendars and form your teams. More details on the registration process, rules and format will follow soon.
