Becoming a member of the SESF is first and foremost becoming part of a big family. The different members statuses have different rights and advantages, but all of them are about including organisations and individuals in the biggest contact network in Swiss esports. Who can become a member?
A membership is possible for every individual, team or organisation within the Swiss esports scene. If you’re actively participating in or plan on participating in esports in Switzerland, you are always welcome at the SESF!
For organisations Are you a brand new or veteran esports team looking for opportunities in competing? An event organiser organising exciting esports tournaments during the year? An association active in esports, or a company investing in esports? Then you can apply as an Ordinary Member to the SESF! Ordinary membership gives you access to everything the SESF can provide to an organisation and is a prime choice for those who want to become the decision-makers of Swiss esports.
Requirements: Have at least 6 months of legal existence, pay a 100 CHF membership fee per year.

Each ordinary member gets one vote at the SESF general meeting. Additionally, ordinary members can also propose statutes amendments and motions!

For individuals and organisations
Are you an esports player, a zealous viewer and supporter of your favourite esports team, a passionate esports content creator or an individual interested in the wonderful developments of esports in Switzerland? Or are you an organisation undecided if you should become and ordinary member and want to first look at the SESF before committing further? Then this membership status is for you.
Requirements: be active or interested in Swiss esports!
At an SESF General Meeting, the sum of the community members' votes equals one ordinary member vote.

For historical figures
An honorary membership in the SESF is for individuals who have made great contributions to the advancement of esports in Switzerland.
Who knows, one day you might get this title bestowed upon you for your feats in our community!
Requirements: Individuals cannot simply apply for an honorary membership. Candidates for an honorary membership are proposed to the SESF’s General Meeting by existing members of the SESF or by the SESF Committee.
Honorary members get an unlimited right to attend all SESF member events and meetings, as well as receiving other exclusive member benefits.
Our honorary members are well known figures in Swiss esports and are references to look up to.
